The University of Guyana School of Graduate Studies and Research is proud to provide students with the opportunity to showcase their research accomplishments by sponsoring the annual Graduate Research Symposium (GRS). The Graduate School together with the Graduate Programme Coordinators at the Schools/Faculties/Colleges will support all Organizing Committees of the Symposium with integration of graduate student volunteers with a Chair of Student Research. We will provide workshops to the graduate research students to support development of your abstracts, oral presentations and posters.
Attendance at the symposium is open to the entire University of Guyana (UG) community and institutions both within and outside of Guyana and will afford UG students and staff in graduate programmes an opportunity to present their research to a broad and diverse audience. Presenters must be registered graduate students from UG whose theses have been approved (i.e., at the proposal stage), are in progress or were completed during the past two academic years.
